This pendant is handmade from an authentic wax seal stamp dating back to the 1800s. When you wear it, you are wearing a piece of art history. The wax seal stamp depicts an image of Aesop’s fable, The Tortoise and the Hare with the French motto Droit Chemin, The Right Path. In heraldry, the tortoise is symbolic of slow, but sure progress. As we know in Aesop's famous fable, slow and steady wins the race!
